Hawaii 2015

Well we returned this week from a fantastic vacation in Hawaii. Started our 10 days with a flight from SFO to a 2 night stay on Oahu, spent most of those two days on North Shore and visited Pearl Harbor and Punch Bowl. Then we boarded our cruise ship for a one week spin around the islands. We stopped 2 says in Maui, 1 day in Hilo, 1 day in Kona and 2 days on Kauai. All in all and fantastic trip. Here are a few of my favorite shots from those 10 days.

Walnut Grove, Ca Sunsets

I love sunset. I have never been a morning person so I don't have many sunrises in my portfolio. So here is a sunset that I just came across that I had never edited before. These two images were taken within 10 minutes of each other. Amazing what some clouds can do for a picture. 

Fall Colors 2014

Took a day trip to the mountains looking for fall color. Well lets just say mother nature didn't disappoint. Drove up Hwy 88 over Monitor Pass then back tracked a bit to come down Hwy 50. Long day but well worth it. Spent the day roadtripping around with my daughter and my camera.  

Oregon Coast

The Oregon Coast

We had a beautiful drive along the Oregon Coast. Stopped at a few beaches and saw the Roosevelt Elk Herd in several locations. I had a chance to play with some long exposures as well. Great weather  made for a perfect weekend. 

Road Trip

I was lucky enough to have 4 days off over this Labor Day Weekend and took advantage of it. We decided to pack up the convertible and head for the California and Oregon coast. Wow we were so fortunate to have the most gorgeous weather. We stayed 3 nights on the coast, one in California at Pt Arena where we visited the B Bryan Preserve. Great place to see some beautiful zebras, giraffes and antelope. These are some of the shots from Day 1.
